Refund and Returns Policy

At LF Trading, we strive to ensure your complete satisfaction with every purchase. We understand that sometimes, things don’t go as planned, and you may need to return an item or seek a refund. This policy outlines the conditions under which returns and refunds are accepted.

1. General Return Conditions

You may return most new, unopened items within 7 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must:

  • Be unused and in the same condition that you received it.

  • Be in its original packaging.

  • Have the original tags and labels attached.

  • Be accompanied by the original receipt or proof of purchase.

Items NOT eligible for return include:

  • Perishable goods (e.g., fresh produce, dairy, frozen items) once delivered, unless they are spoiled or damaged at the time of delivery.

  • Digital products or services.

  • Items that have been used, opened, or removed from their original packaging (unless defective).

  • Items purchased on sale or clearance (these are typically final sale).

  • Items specifically marked as non-returnable.

  • Personal care items (e.g., cosmetics, toiletries) for hygiene reasons, if opened.

2. Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or incorrect (not what you ordered), please contact us immediately within 24 hours of delivery.

  • We may request photographic or video evidence of the damage or defect.

  • Once verified, we will arrange for a replacement, repair, or full refund, including any original shipping costs.

  • We will cover the cost of return shipping for damaged or defective items.

3. How to Initiate a Return

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  2. Provide your order number, the name of the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return.

  3. Our team will provide you with instructions on how to return the item, including the return address if applicable.

4. Return Shipping

  • For returns due to change of mind or incorrect purchase by the customer, the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs.

  • For damaged, defective, or incorrect items sent by LF Trading, we will cover the return shipping costs.

  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance for returns, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

5. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email notification confirming the receipt of your item and the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within [e.g., 5-10 business days].

  • Refunds may take some time to appear on your bank statement depending on your financial institution.

  • Original shipping fees (if any) are non-refundable unless the return is due to a damaged, defective, or incorrect item.

6. Exchanges

If you wish to exchange an item for a different size, color, or a completely different product, please contact our customer support team. Exchanges are subject to product availability.

7. Store Pickup Orders

For items picked up from our physical location (18 A Muguta Epworth, Harare, Zimbabwe):

  • Please inspect items thoroughly at the point of pickup.

  • Returns for store pickup orders must still meet the general return conditions.

  • You may bring the item back to our physical address within the 7-day return period with proof of purchase.

8. Logistics & Freight Forwarding Services
